DataFlex 2.3b is a 4GL using its own ISAM-based RDBMS, designed for high-performance transaction processing demand by complex commercialapplication software. Applications designed in Dataflex can betransparently migrated from the design system to any of more than 60other hardware/operating system platforms supported by DataFlex. Thistransportability also allows DataFlex applications to interoperate acrossboth similar and dissimilar operating environments, providing thecapability of load-balancing users and data files with various dataprocessing resources.
